The hotel was an easy base for enjoying a charming area, close enough to the mercados de 20 Noviembre, Santo Domingo church, and downtown. The room was cozy and big, with with w entry from a shared patio and private balcony, for example. We were in a brilliant location at walking distance from Museo Belber Jimenez.

Our reservation was handled by noelia, who made sure we were comfortable and happy. It was also great to find an affordable hostel close to the center. We enjoyed the included breakfast of eggs with beans and homemade tortillas.

The location of Casa Dos Lunas is fantastic, just a short walk to the centro with easy access to restaurants and shops. They were helpful with recommendations. The room I stayed in had a lovely view and felt cozy, complete with air conditioning and a tv. The courtyard was a nice retreat for mornings and evenings. The shower floor was dangerously slippery, and I almost fell twice. I wished there was a mini-bar to keep drinks cool, especially since the complimentary coffee wasn't great. I also felt the mattress was a bit too firm for my liking. These small issues took away from an otherwise pleasant stay.

My experience was quite disappointing . The mattress was rigid. There were strong sewer smells coming from the bathroom , made it quite unpleasant. Even the towels were not replaced .

My stay was a good experience as I explored the nearby attractions, including the House of Juarez Museum and the Ethnobotanical Garden, both within a short walk. The person who managed my reservation went out of her way to, even surprising me with a bottle of wine for my birthday. The room I had was cozy and clean, featuring a lovely courtyard which made for a pleasant relaxation spot after a day of exploring.

The staff were kind and helpful, providing great recommendations for local attractions. The homemade ice cream served in the garden was a good treat that added to the experience. The room felt cramped and the mattress was uncomfortably firm were nice. The complimentary coffee offered in the morning lacked flavor, resembling more of a weak brew than a quality start to the day.
